1. Carolina Maggio attended the Umberto Boccioni artistic school in her native Milan.                               She has travelled extensively throughout Europe and uses many of the experiences she garnered to breathe life into her paintings.Carolina paints to capture expression and emotion be it passion, fear, eroticism, dreams.She does this to try and stress the importance of emotion and the importance of recognising our base human emotions even though many times social constrictions require us to ignore them.Carolina is currently working as part of the New Renaissance movement which has started in Italy and is gradually spreading throughout Western Europe.She has had many exhibitions throughout Italy and London and can now be seen exclusively at As Yet Unknown in Camden Town.
